Kayak tour was a blast!

Went on the La Jolla Sea Cave Kayak Tour with some friends last week and it was so much fun! The guides were really chill and made sure everyone was comfortable. The caves were super cool to paddle through. It felt like a real adventure without being too intense. Definitely want to go back and try a different tour sometime.

Good quality tee

Bought a Men's Graphic Tee. It shipped fast. Material is soft and the fit is true to size. Happy with the purchase.

Consistently good tours

This was my third time booking with Everyday California; I've done the snorkel tour and a paddleboard rental before, and this time I took a surf lesson. They are always reliable. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient, especially for a beginner like me. Equipment is always in good shape too. I keep coming back because I know I'll have a good experience. It's nice to find a company that maintains its quality over time. My surf lesson was just as well-organized as my first snorkel tour a couple of years ago.

Good value for a tour

I was looking for a fun activity that wasn't too expensive and the Whale Watching Kayak Tour caught my eye. The price was reasonable compared to other options I found in the area. We actually saw some whales, which made it totally worth it. I felt like I got my money's worth for sure. Shipping wasn't an issue since it was a tour, but booking was easy online.

Okay so I'm debating between Everyday California and La Jolla Kayak for a sea cave tour. Is there really a big difference between them?

D Dana 3 weeks ago
Honestly, both are decent. Everyday California is a bit more 'brand' focused, good gear. La Jolla Kayak is more bare bones but sometimes cheaper.

I've done both. Everyday California felt a little more organized and the guides were super knowledgeable about the area. Their equipment seemed newer too. Just my experience though.

Does Everyday California ship outside the US? I'm in Canada and really like some of their hats.

S Shane Hughes 4 weeks ago
Nah, pretty sure they're US only for shipping. I tried to send something to a friend in the UK once and it wouldn't let me.

I don't think so, their shipping info always seems to imply domestic only. Might be worth emailing them just in case, but I wouldn't count on it.

how's their return policy for clothes? got a tee for my brother but not sure if it'll fit.

A Anna 1 week ago
Pretty standard, I think it's like 30 days for unworn stuff. I returned a hat once, no issues.

Yeah, if it's unworn with tags, you should be fine for a full refund. Just make sure to initiate it within their window. Check the site for exact days, but it was easy for me.

Hey, thinking about grabbing one of their hoodies. How's the sizing run, like true to size or should I size up/down?

P Paula 3 weeks ago
I got a graphic tee last month and it was pretty true to my normal size, maybe a touch on the fitted side. For a hoodie, I'd probably go with your usual size unless you want it super baggy.

Yeah, I always size up one for hoodies from places like this, just for comfort. My Everyday California one is great though, good quality.

Want to book a kayak tour for next month, but I'm worried about getting there on time. How early do you actually need to show up?

J Josh 3 weeks ago
They usually say like 30 minutes before, I think, to check in and get geared up. I'd stick to that, especially if it's a busy weekend.

Just show up when they tell you in the confirmation. It's not a super rushed thing but you don't wanna be that person holding everyone up, lol.

Anyone know if I can use a student discount for a surf lesson? Or are those codes only for gear?

B Brett 4 weeks ago
I'm pretty sure I saw something about student discounts applying to tours, so lessons should be included. Check their site, but I'd guess yes.

J Josh 3 weeks ago
Afraid you can't stack discounts, so if you're already doing a group rate or something, the student one might not work. But yeah, student discount works on lessons usually.
